English: The maqsura of the Lalla Aouda Mosque, on display at the Dar Jamai Museum in Meknes. The maqsura is a wooden screen that separated and protected the sultan and his entourage from the rest of the public during prayers in the mosque. This is the central section of the maqsura. It dates from 1677, installed on the order of Sultan Moulay Ismail.
