Summary

Description Look closely at those windows and you'll see that they're fake. 24 Leinster Gardens, sandwiched between the Henry VIII and Blakemore hotels in Queensway, is a facade. The original house was demolished to make way for the London Underground tunnel which runs beneath and the fake front put up in its place to maintain appearances. This all happened back in the 1860s and TfL regularly repaints the 'windows' to maintain the illusion.
