English: Linlithgow railway station in West Lothian, Scotland. The Edinburgh to Glasgow railway is built on the side of a hill on the south side of the town centre. The eastbound platform (towards Edinburgh) of the station is at first floor level, but the westbound platform is at street level on the opposite side of the station and therefore higher up the hill.
