The Li-2 was a copy of the DC-3/C-47 but with Russian 9-cylinder Shvetsov ASh-62IR engines.
There were some minor differences, such as a smaller wingspan and a passenger door on the right side of the fuselage but the type is still recognisable as a 'Dakota'.
This is an ex-Aeroflot aircraft, although it's Li-2T designation would suggest it was built as a Polish bomber trainer (does anyone out there know if this is correct?).
