English: Representation of a London County Council commemorative plaque to Thomas Henry Huxley erected 11th March 1912 at 88 Paradise Road, Rotherhithe, subsequently demolished. 450x450 png based on a monochrome line drawing from "Indication of Houses of Historical Interest in London - Volume III" published by the London County Council in 1912. The name of the author is given as the London County Council, the principal local government body for the County of London throughout its existence from 1889 to 1965. The individual authors/artists are not named in the book. Volumes I-III include a forward by Sir Laurence Gomme, Clerk to London County Council, who died in 1915. Volume IV includes a forward by Sir James Bird, Clerk to London County Council who died in 1925. Volume VI includes a forward by George Gater, Clerk to London County Council who died in 1963.
