The George Street Mill group are built over the original 1769 Townley Street Mill and adjacent to the 1820 Alma Mill (Pickford Street).Here is George Street Mill (1875) wth the taller George Street New Mill (1885) behind. Weaving shed (1946) were built over the Townley Street Mill. It is now labelled as Royal Court.
