English: The Macmillan Aryballos: a proto-Corinthian aryballos with an upper part in the form of a lion's head. The body is decorated with scenes of seventeen warriors in combat, a hare hunt, and a horse race. The vase is attributed to the Chigi Painter. c.640 BC. Height: 6.9 cm; Width: 3.9 cm. GR 1889,0418.1.
