English: Majader Ara Derived from Masjider Ara(Bush near the Mosque). Also known as Sahabi Mosque, Harano Masjid(The Lost Mosque) etc.-The inscriptions of terracotta brick found in carious mosque which could be the Oldest Mosque in South Asia indicates Hijri year 69 (690 AD) and style of historical craft. This mosque is discovered in Barabari, Panchagram union, Lalmonirhat District, Rangpur Division, Bangladesh.
বাংলা: মাজাদের আড়া শব্দটি মসজিদের আড়া হতে উদ্ভূত। এটিকে অনেকে হারানো মসজিদ, সাহাবী মসজিদ ইত্যাদি নামে জানে। ভগ্নপ্রায় মসজিদে প্রাপ্ত পোড়ামাটির শিলালিপিতে ৬৯ হিজরি (৬৯০সন) অঙ্কিত আছে যা দক্ষিণ এশিয়ায় নির্মিত সর্বপ্রথম মসজিদ বলে ধারনা করা হয়। মসজিদটি রংপুর বিভাগের লালমনিরহাট জেলায় আবিষ্কৃত হয়।
