English: Mangrove rubbervine, Rhabdadenia biflora
I finally found a mangrove rubbervine. This fascinating plant grows in mangrove forests from Florida to South America. When not in bloom, it is difficult to spot as the leaves blend in with those of the mangrove. Though a camouflaged ghost in it's mangrove fortress, the vine is suddenly revealed when it blooms! Seeds are produced in elongated pods.
