Summary

Description
English: Cabin believed to have belonged to John Clemens, father of author Mark Twain (Samuel Clemens), at the Museum of Appalachia in Norris, Tennessee, USA. The cabin was originally located at Possum Trot, near Pall Mall in Fentress County, Tennessee, where the Clemens family lived for a brief period before moving to Missouri. The cabin was purchased from Ernest Buck, whose family had been in possession of the cabin throughout the 20th century, and moved to the museum in 1995. The cabin's rock chimney was a later addition, built around 1905.
