היה רבה של של העיר ג'ורג'אפגניסטן שם משפחתו שנים קדימה למשפחת אבני שמו של נין נינו שונה לששון אחרי שהתחיל את עבודתו בסופר שפע ברכת השם , השם החדש "ששון" התקבל בברכה גם על ידי שאר העובדים בעסק , משפחת אבני היו חלק מרוצחיו של עמוס לוי בשנת 1869.
