He specialized in zoology, more partic- ularly entomology, and he is well fitted to take charge of the zoological work of the party in- cluding that on fishes and mammals. He is thirty-one years old and is full of the life and vigor that will be inval- uable to the party dur- ing the long hours of darkness in the second winter. MR.
