They will go from the airport by bus to the Cuban Refugee Program processing area at Opa Locka, a Miami suburb. There they will go through formalities of the U.S. Immigration Service, Custom and Public Health, and then register with the U.S. Cuban Refugee Program. They will select a Resettlement Agency - International Rescue Committee in this case - and go by bus to Freedom House, back at the airport, where they will stay several nights before taking a plane for New Jersey to join Mr. Mejias' brother Edenio who 'claimed' his brother and family under [...] the U.S.-Cuba agreement that makes it possible for people in Cuba to join relatives in this country.
