Summary

Photograph of a mixing bowl, known as a mortarium, on display in Middlewich library. The bowl dates from AD 60-90, is marked ALBINVS (the potter's name) on the rim. The information notice in the library states that the bowl was probably made at Wilderspool. However, it was made in the Verulamium-region potteries. ^[1] ^[2] Photograph taken by Salinae. 2007
