Modern Electrics and Mechanics is the combination of Modern Electrics (by Modern Publishing) and Electrician and Mechanic (by Sampson Publishing). It was published for six issues from January 1914 to June 1914 using the volume numbers of Electrician and Mechanic. After a series of mergers and title changes the magazine became Popular Science Monthly in October 1915 and is still published today.
