English: Mogoşoaia Palace and garden — situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, Romania.
  • It was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brâncovenesc style, a combination of Venetian and Ottoman elements.
  • The palace bears the name of the widow of the Romanian boyar Mogoş, who owned the land it was built on.
  • The Palace was to a large extent rebuilt in the 1920s by Marthe Bibesco.
Deutsch: Das Schloss Mogoșoaia befindet sich in Rumänien. Es liegt rund 15 Kilometer nordwestlich von Bukarest entfernt in einem Park am Ufer des Mogoșoaia-Sees. Schloss Mogoșoaia gehört zu den bekanntesten Kulturdenkmalen Rumäniens. Der walachische Fürst Constantin Brâncoveanu ließ das Schloss in der Zeit von 1698 bis 1702, auf dem Gut einer Witwe Mogoș (davon stammt der Name Mogoșoaia), in dem nach ihm benannten Brâncoveanu-Baustil errichten.
Català: El Palau de Mogoșoaia es troba a uns 15 Km al nord-est de Bucarest, Romania. Va ser construit entre 1698-1702 pel comte Constantin Brâncoveanu i el seu estil arquitectònic pertany al renaixament romanès o estil Brâncovenesc, una combinació d'elements venecians i otomans. El nom del palau prové de la víuda romanesa Mogoş, propietària del terreny on va ser construit el palau. El 1920 el palau va ser reconstruit i ampliat per Marthe Bibesco.
