Summary

Description
English: Shows, in three separate vignettes, examples of 3 types of Māori dwelling, the first (top left) in Tolaga Bay, the others in the Bay of Islands. The second and third are looking straight on to the front, the first looking at an angle to the front. The second and third dwellings display carvings. Drawn by crew of the Astrolabe, which visited New Zealand in early 1827, the year after the death of Pomare I.
