Isa sa tagapagtatag ng National Economic Protectionism Association (NEPA) at ng White Cross, isang bahay-ampunan. Tumanggap ng mga Gawad Parangal bilang Economic Leader of the Year, 1955 at Businessman of the Year, 1964, kapwa buhat sa Business Writers’ Association of the Philippines; at Social Scientist of 1965, buhat sa National Science Development Board. Namatay noong Oktubre 7, 1982.
