As the first female to graduate from The Citadel, met another female first - Major Shaye Haver was one of the first two females to graduate from U.S. Army Ranger School. Was joined by Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Deputy Secretary of Defense Kathleen Hicks, and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley. Some guests from the Armed Forces Retirement Home Included:

Marion Marques who spent her career in the Women's Army Corps, Norma Rambow who served in the Marines as a cook at Camp Lejeune, Corrine Robinson who served as a Corpsman for Women Accepted for Volunteer Emergency Service, and Hilary Rosado who served in the Army as an imagery analyst.
