English: Next weekend promises to give you a rugby match to remember as the Classic Wallabies and the Fiji Rugby Fiji Legends go head-to-head for a rematch as part of their Fiji tour.
This year, a star-studded Classic Wallabies team will tour Fijian schools and communities, celebrating the game of #rugby.
The tour was officially announced this afternoon by Australian High Commissioner to Fiji, John Feakes, and Fiji Rugby Union CEO, John O’Connor, at a press conference at the FRU.
It will see players visit cuvu college and the Sigatoka School for Special Education for coaching clinics with students, as well as a visit to the Sigatoka Hospital, before taking on Fiji Legends in a curtain raiser to the National Rugby Championship match between the Fiji Drua and Melbourne Rising at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, on Saturday September 1 – so be sure to grab your tickets while you can!
Notable players for the Classic Wallabies include Samu Kerevi, Radike Samo and Lote Tuqiri, while the touring squad will also feature Australian greats Stephen Moore and Rob Horne, as well as Wallaby-capped Melbourne Rebels star Laurie Weeks.
