Summary

Description

It's an incredible three decades since National Express adopted the Metroliner as its flagship product. An unfortunate series of accidents brought the era of double-deck express coaches on National Express work to a premature end. This fictional image supposes a renewed interest in this type of vehicle has been met through a licence agreement between Plaxton and Australian manufacturer BusTech. Plaxton has adopted a more conventional twin rear axle arrangement for the UK market. The Expressliner name continues an earlier series of coaches built by Plaxton to National Express specifications (30-Jan-15).
