Monument Valley, on he border of Utah and Arizona is owned by the Navajo Nation. The scenery is already well known to many through it's being a backdrop for many films (movies). Every year people come from all round the world to visit this impressive place, but amid the scenery many Navajo live. In this picture, at the very bottom centre you can see a Navajo home, dwarfed by the scenery. |
