Description
English: This retouched map shows a concept from local governance in Seoul, which is called 'Neighborhood Region' (권역생활권), meaning an inter-district neighborhood unit which is literally a set having autonomous districts as components. It was first introduced to official urban planning of Seoul (서울도시기본계획) in 1997 as a concept of wide-range community planning, and continued to present days including Seoul Metropolitan Government's latest official urban plan published in 2023.
