English: Newhaven Locomotive Depot with ex-LB&SC 0-6-0T and 0-6-2T.
Enthusiasts off the RCTS Sussex Rail Tour (see TQ3380 : London Bridge (Central ) Station, with 'Schools' 4-4-0 on a Rail Tour) mill round the Locomotive Yard and watch the two ex LB&SC engines which worked our Special from Lewes to Seaford and back to Brighton. In front is No. 32636, a Marsh A1X rebuild (1913) of Stroudley A1 class 0-6-0T ('Terrier') No. 72 'Fenchurch' of 9/1872, which belonged to the Newhaven Harbour Co. 1898-1926, then became SR No. B636, 2636 and BR 32636, was withdrawn in 11/63 and is preserved on the Bluebell Railway as No. 72 'Fenchurch' again!. Behind is R. Billinton E6 class 0-6-2T No. 32418, built 12/1905, withdrawn 12/62. Newhaven Depot was a sub-depot of Brighton (BR code 75A) and (in 11/54) had an allocation of 13:- 3 4-4-2, 2 0-6-0, 5 0-6-2T and 3 0-6-0T.
