English: North End of Corkan Island Corkan Island- North end of the Island near Porthall. The bridge once carried the Great Northern Railway line onto the Island. Similarly there was another bridge at the other end of the island to carry the railway over the river into Strabane. The bridge between Corkan/Strabane has now been removed.
