DescriptionNovember 3, 1887 Staten Island Rapid Transit Railroad Timetable.png
English: This is the November 3, 1887 issue of the timetable for the Staten island Rapid Transit Railroad. The timetable shows the separate operations of the original Staten Island Railway line to Tottenville and the SIRT lines. The top of the timetable shows the stations and times for the trains to Tottenville, along with the ferries from New York to St. George, and the ferry from Tottenville to Perth Amboy. Old station names such as Grassmere, Garretson's, Court House, Gifford's and Woods of Arden are shown. At the bottom of the timetable, the times for the Rapid Trains, to Erastina on the North Shore Branch and to Clifton on the East Shore Branch are shown. Tompkinsville and Clifton were only served by these trains, while Stapleton was also served by trains from Tottenville.
