Summary

Description
English: Professor Bell designed the Oz logo. In this conception, the “O” letter is shaped as a circle yet the inside portion, the counter, is shaped like the plan of the Campidoglio in Rome. Michelangelo’s plan placed the statue of Marcus Aurelius near the center of the circle, symbolizing that space as being the center of the Roman world, though the oval has no center. The Oz logo has Manhattan as the center of the journal while not being the center of the architectural world.
