Yes

Purpose of use

To illustrate a critically commented upon scene in the episode. The shot is sourced by commentary in various sections:

  • The body of Nathan Bowman, the victim pictured in the screenshot, was created by drenching an in-house dummy with the correct shade of paint. This is further elaborated in the "Production" section of the parent article. Many critics, including Paula Vitaris from Cinefantastique, called the scene "striking". This is further elaborated in the "Reception" section.
  • This image serves to provide invaluable help to the reader. Without it, the articles explanation of the image is inadequate and words alone do not do justice to the scene (A man covered in paint). In addition, as the production of the scene is discussed, the image serves as a helpful visual aid.
Replaceable?
