Português: No centro da cidade, o Palacete é um bem tombado em Sorocaba, São Paulo, Brasil. O edifício teve sua construção iniciada em 1921, a pedido do Sr. Nicolau Scarpa, foi construída em função de sua família, que necessitava, naquele momento de um sistema financeiro para apoiá-los nos negócios. Naquela época era bastante comum as indústrias possuírem bancos próprios. Foi no Palacete Scarpa que funcionou um dos primeiros sistemas bancários na cidade. A edificação atraiu a atenção de todos os cidadãos, mesmo aquela época, pois seria o primeiro imóvel a possuir três pavimentos e a ter elevador, do tipo gaiola.
