DescriptionPasser griseus Museum de Genève (2).JPG
English: A mounted specimen of a sparrow at the Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Genève, said to be "Passer griseus". This probably is a Northern Grey-headed Sparrow—Passer griseus in the strict sense—given the white throat patch and the description of the range of the species ("Ouest et centre de l'Afrique") at the museum, though the Swahili Sparrow and Southern Grey-headed Sparrow would be difficult to distinguish; if it is a Northern Grey-headed Sparrow, it probably is the nominate subspeciesgriseus.
