Данная работа — одно из немногих сохранившихся до нашего времени произведений этого талантливого, но рано умершего художника, одного из первых учеников А. Г. Венецианова. Как и многим другим работам венециановской школы, ей присущи естественность и проникновен-

ность, внимательное отношение к натуре.
