DescriptionPeterlee Town Centre, February 2022.jpg
English: The large pedestrian area at Castle Dene Shopping Centre in Peterlee. The open area is paved with circular patterns in the brickwork, and a large green patch of synthetic turf has been laid down further ahead. Behind this is the building housing a public access lift and stairway, its wall bearing the signage of the Costa Coffee shop behind it.
To the viewer's left is the Believe Housing customer service centre, currently closed as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, A Jet2Holidays travel centre, and a nail salon called Nail Fairy.
To the right, the signage for an Iceland supermarket and Superdrug can just be seen. Various pedestrians can be seen going about their business. Up ahead, the pedestrianised area extends uphill to more shops.
