Description Phonoharp by Walter Kitundu, seen at the Museum of Craft and Folk Art in San Francisco, CA. The Phonoharp, introduced in 2001, is a stringed musical instrument with the phonograph turntable serving as a pickup. The strings' vibrations are passed to the turntable platter and are retransmitted through the stylus and magnetic cartridge to the amplifier.
