English: Point-class cutters of U.S. Coast Guard Squadron 1 operate off Vietnam in 1965. The cutter in front is USCGC Point Comfort (WPB-82317). Point Comfort was assigned to Division 11 with 8 other cutters at An Thoi Naval Base on the southern tip of Phú Quốc island on the Gulf of Thailand. The cutters arrived at Naval Station Subic Bay, Philippines, in May 1965 and at An Thoi in August 1965.
