Summary

Description
English: City and Port of Long Beach, California. Orange shaded area depicts the extent of fill required for the proposed 1990 Port Disney development. The DisneySea theme park would have been built almost entirely on the new fill. For orientation, RMS Queen Mary is approximately in the center of the photograph, on the southern shore of Queensway Bay. The City of Long Beach is in the upper half (background) of the photograph, with the Los Angeles River entering Queensway Bay from the upper left corner. The Port of Long Beach is in the foreground.
