English: Zachariasz Mysyrowicz, the son of John Mysyrowicz, was a member of an Armenian family living in Poland. He bore the Jastrzębiec coat of arms which appears at the top right-hand corner of the portrait, though now it cannot be seen clearly.

On the reverse of the canvas, partially illegible, is the following text: "Obyt A&D 1790 / Die [...] Iuny aetatis 63 / ZACHARIAS MYSYROWICZ / ... / FILIUS IOANNIS MYSYROWICZ" ["Died A.D. 1790 / On the day of [...] June, aged 63 / ZACHARIAS MYSYROWICZ / ... / SON OF JOHN MYSYROWICZ"].
