Summary

Description
English: Founded by the French photographer Réhahn. In 2017, the Precious Heritage Collection of portraits and traditional costumes found its permanent home in the artist’s Precious Heritage Museum. It is the only cultural museum of its kind in the world that presents information, photographs and artefacts of all of Vietnam’s ethnic groups. The collection in the Precious Heritage Museum located in the Ancient Town of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, consists of over 100 photographs, 62 traditional wardrobe ensembles and spans five rooms and 500sqm. Most of the costumes were given to the artist by the chief of each village. The museum is entirely free to the public as a way to honor and share that gift.
