Description
English: The image shows the basic principle of the photoelectrowetting effect. The left image shows a droplet wetting a surface at zerobias. The middle image shows the electrowetting of the droplet at a positive voltage generates a space charge region at the insulator/semiconductor interface. The right image shows photoelectrowetting when light modifies the space charge region.
