English: Floor plan of basement. Pulitzer Building (New York World Building), 99 Park Row, New York, NY. Built 1890, demolished 1955. Newspaper employees would use an entrance on this level, labeled "Z" (bottom edge of diagram), and freight vehicles would use the entrances labeled "U". In the lower right corner, there are two elevators labeled "K" to transport compositors to the 12th floor.
