Stema municipiului Suceava, potrivit anexei nr. 13, se compune dintr-un scut albastru, încărcat cu o cetate crenelată, de argint, dotată cu ferestre, aşezată pe o câmpie verde.

În faţa cetăţii, Sfântul Gheorghe ecvestru (cal alb), nimbat de aur, purtând mantie, brâu şi cizme roşii, străpunge cu o lance de aur balaurul negru.

În şef se află capul de bour având o stea cu cinci raze între coarne, flancat în dreapta de o stea cu opt raze, iar în stânga, de o semilună, toate de aur.

Scutul este timbrat de o coroană murală de argint, formată din şapte turnuri crenelate.

Semnificaţia elementelor însumate:

- simbolizează vechea cetate de scaun a Sucevei, al cărei patron era Sfântul Gheorghe.
