Description

Longdendale in Derbyshire is the valley of the River Etherow. The Longdendale Chain is a series of reservoirs built to provide drinking water forManchester. The River Etherow in spate flows over the weir into Woodhead Reservoir. To the right lorries climb the A628 either side of Heyden Brook , behind is Ancote Hill and Bareholme Moss. Weather conditions: Rain.
