Original file (2,482 × 1,878 pixels, file size: 1.06 MB, MIME type: image/jpeg)

Summary

Description
English: Rainplot maps the intermutational distance of breast cancer genes and tracks the basepair substitution in each mutation. The dots at the lower half of the graph show mutations that are close to each other and cluster together, known as kataegis in this case. We can see that most mutation in kataegis are consist of C→T substitution. From A) we see kataegis in a smaller region, and in B) kataegis is all over the genome. Data are originally from the Breast Cancer Working Group of the International Cancer Genome Consortium.
