While I was away to Ranthambhore Tiger Reserve in Rajasthan with my Flickr friend, Naseer shooting this magnificent male tiger, T12, my photostream recorded the 300,000th hit. I owe it to all my friends on Flickr, whose support and encouragement helped in this endeavour!
Ranthambhore is one of the best maintained Tiger Reserves in India. While sighting a tiger is sure and easy at Bandhavgarh, at Ranthambhore it is not so easy. But the reward is, once you are lucky to see one, more often than not, you get to photograph the big cat at close range, better than any other place on earth.
