English: The north side of the Hospitium of St. John. It is one of few remaining buildings from the time of Reading Abbey, when it was used as a dormitory for pilgrims. In 1485 it was extensively altered to become the Royal Grammar School of King Henry VII (later Reading School). Today it is occupied by a children's nursery.
