Summary

Description
English: Rigs on Cockleroi. In past times, the hill was cultivated to a much greater altitude than now. Given that the summit is at a rather exposed 278metres, arable land must have been at a premium. The snow shows up the rigs very clearly. The summit has traces of walls of an Iron Age fort, a feature not uncommon in West Lothian.
