עברית: המצור על ירושלים והחרבתה בידי הרומאים תחת פיקודו של טיטוס, בעיניו של דייוויד רוברטס, שמן על בד, 1850. מיקום הרומאים בציור: מצפון-מזרח לעיר, דבר התואם את שלב הקמת המחנות של טיטוס, כשבציור נראה המחנה המאוחד באֵזור הר הצופים. ההצתות בעיר יכולות להיות קשורות לקרבות הפנימיים בין המורדים. ניתן להבחין בציור בשלוש החומות המקיפות את העיר, וברקע – במגדלים שממערב לעיר העליונה, סביב לארמון הורדוס. המקדש משמאל, ונחל קדרון לפניו.
