English: Contemporary photographs of the NRHP-listed Rock Hall in Lawrence, New York. The house was built on the northeast coast of Jamaica Bay around 1767, and was once the home of English sugar plantation owner Josiah Martin. During the American Revolution, it was briefly occupied by Minutemen in the winter of 1776. Prior to this photograph and six others, all pictures of the house museum were in black and white from the Historic American Building Survey and were taken in 1935; Either photographs from February 14, 1935, or diagrams from June 22, 1935. This was taken from my car on November 16, 2017.
