Description
English: This picture was taken shortly after a rock burst at a deep mine in the Western United States. The walls of the mine (normally vertical) have nearly closed and many of the support members (bolts and mesh) are severely damaged. The yellow material is an inflatable fan tube used to force air to the working face.
