DescriptionRose Hill station northbound stairway.jpg
English: Stairway (seen behind the no parking sign) leading to the (since demolished) northbound platform of the Chicago and North Western Railway's Rose Hill station in Chicago. While the stairway itself was not removed after the station's closure, access to it was by placing a barrier matching the abutment supporting the viaduct over Rosehill Drive. Uncontrolled vegetation has taken over portions of the stairway which partially obscure it from view. At the time of the photo, the station had been abandoned for almost a full sixty years.
