Description

Rose car engine

This engine, built in 1902, was designed to be fitted in the Rose 'National' car, which raced at Brooklands in 1908.

Subsequently, it was fitted into a fire engine owned by the company 'Rose Bros. Works' in 1912, where it served until the engine was broken up in 1940.
